Decided to play tourist for an evening and check out the sights and sounds of Waikiki. It can be a challenge to get there considering the crowds vs. the lack of parking but, once there it is incredible how much of a melting pot it really is. It was fun chasing the sun down the horizon, dodging groups of people, running a muck through the hotels, checking out the “art statues”. It reminds me of the Hollywood walk of fame! It’s funny to see what people are willing to do for entertainment. I am always inspired by the Japanese tourists, they have a way about mixing textiles, silhouettes, and print. Fashion is pretty toned down here for the most part, but I figured a maxi would work just perfect for a stroll through the evening. This kind of turned out more like a photo diary of the adventure, it certainly is more pics than I usually post but, the lighting was just so perfect that I couldn’t resist!
